Glad You’re Here

Thanks for visiting. It is really nice of you and I am very glad to have you here :) :) :) I hope you continually enjoy reading Never Lacking Zeal. Maybe you are on this page by “mistake” but it might not be a waste of time. As a courteous reader may I invite you to read bellow?

Do you know God? Are you walking with Him?

I am not asking if you attend any Christian gathering. If you are currently not walking with God, please allow me to invite you to join this wonderful family of God that I belong to.  it is called the church. God created us for his glory and for our good. He longs to have a personal relationship with every one of us.  He doesn’t just want you to be a “Christian” by religion. It’s honestly not about religion, it’s about relationship.  God loves you so very much and longs to be your father, your savior, your provider, your protector, your king, your all.

Purposeful and meaningful life is found in God.

God’s desire is for us all to live and experience abundant lives in our daily walk with him. He wants us to grow in him and get to know him better every day. He longs for us to find complete joy in him, through his son Jesus Christ and the power of God’s Holy Spirit in us.

Here are some Bible verses to illustrate what I am saying (the whole Bible is the Word of God but since I cannot reproduce it all I only give you examples. Please find a Bible and read it for yourself):

Jeremiah 1:4-5 “The word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”

Psalm 139:13 -14, 17 -18 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.”

Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 31:3b “…I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”

Isaiah 49:15-16 “Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.”

We were all created in God’s image but man fell (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12 -21), and we are all born into sin…sin leads unto death. But God loves us so much, he sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. God longs to reconcile us back to himself. When we come to him, seeking him with sincere hearts and turning away from our past, he forgives us, and we start afresh.

Here again are some scripture verses: It is called the Old Gospel (gospel means “good news”).

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 4:9-11 “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

So what must I do to be saved? How do I obtain this free gift of eternal life? That’s a very good question and you are not the first to ask.
- By Grace, through Faith.

Acts 16:30b,31 “….what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved…”

Romans 10: 13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

John 1:12 “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

Ephesians 2: 8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Deuteronomy 30:20a “You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

What does it mean to “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”? - By placing your complete faith and trust in Jesus Christ ,and relying upon Him as your only hope of salvation (from sin) and eternal life. You are trusting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

My prayer is…

Jude 1:24 “Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.”

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ”

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Sincerely,

With all the blessings that only the God of the Bible could give,

Lucien Atchale
